Search engines like Google have changed a lot. In future they will change further and will be precisely perfect in removing duplicate and bad pages from the index. What will be left over in the index is freshly updated high quality content. Obviously if you have a business site with 10-15 static pages, you have reasons to worry as you might lose the competition to other business sites which update content regularly.

The solution to this problem is simple. Include a blog section in your business blog which most of business houses have already started doing. This will give the search engines some fresh content and will ask them to spider more of your site and more often. This will help you stay in the top and also not to lose ranking in search index.

Having a blog section also helps in connecting with the potential customers as comments act as both feedback , suggestions and complaints. It would add interactivity as well as give more inputs for improvement in service.

If you are not including images in your wordpress post then you are missing a lot. Infact images not only provide better SEO but also brings in traffic from other sources like Google image search and can also add up to the adsense revenue.

So how do you optimize the image?

Include the main keywords or tags as the name of the image. Never forget to include a title and Alt for the image. These are strong points in terms of SEO and doesn’t deserve a miss. Most often these tags are read by search engine to guess the content of the image for image search and leaving them blank is certainly not advisable.

Resize the images to smaller size to avoid large bandwidth usage. Use image editing softwares like adobe photoshop or use available wordpress plugins. I personally prefer to edit it first and then include instead of using a plugin. The more the plugins, the more load it would put on the servers.

The most complex part of earning from a site through ads stream by publisher programs like adsense is the fact that – “Earnings vary depending on the content of the site – Niche / Category to be specific”. Example health or tech sites pay more than a bollywood. So it becomes a nasty situation out there to choose a category.

However, if you are planning to blog on yourself, then its better to choose a category which interest’s you the most instead of looking for high paying adsense keywords. If you are planning to hire writers for your blog then you can do some research on this and find a balance between high paying keywords and potential traffic.

Many high paying keywords like Insurance and Cancer would be very hard for getting traffic. A lot of research would be required to find out the optimum balance with potential traffic and high paying keywords.

This is something which most bloggers who have just begun blogging have in their minds. There are some facts which every blogger who wishes to earn money from blogs should know:

1. It takes months for your blog to earn money.

2. The time keeps on increasing. For example: if it takes 6 months now, it would take 9 months may be an year after. The reason is competition and the increase in number of blogs.

3. Lots of consistent efforts.

4. You cannot survive on the blog income for the starting year. Yes, this is very true. Never expect you would make a living from your blog in the year you start it. Its not practically that easy at all.

5. Keep realistic targets and don’t dream of making huge money with less work.

A good blog with good content should take anywhere from 5 to 8 months to start earning some notable income. It does depend on the niche but more importantly, if you blog about something which you know, then you are bound to succeed some day.

A lot of times bloggers are concerned about the word “category” which shows up in the category URL. Something like wncafe.com/category/category-name . There are indeed various ways to remove it like changine the rewrite.php file. But I often wonder whats the need?

So I left it as it is on this blog as I do not want to work on something which will have no use in terms of SEO. The only advantage of removing the word category is it looks good. But I feel a real visitor or reader will rarely look at the url structure. The only people who will do so will be some competing bloggers.

The fact that its not important for me is bcos I never like my tags and category pages to be indexed. I like only my post pages to be indexed in search engine. So when the category pages links have a “no follow” then its totally pointless to work on its url structure. Would surely like to have the views of other bloggers on this.

Where to Start and how?

Probably before you start earning money online, you should know how to start? For that one needs to find out the available options and what suits you the best.

One can earn money online by variety of means example: blogging, joining pay to click programs, affiliate marketing, Pay for action programs like downloads or completing surveys.

Affiliate or Pay for action programs are those which require some action on the part of the visitor and therefore will require lot of effort on your part to earn. The easiest of the above is the Pay to click sites where you get money for clicking ads and reading advertisements. However, this area is filled up with many fraud companies which never pay and thus you stand a chance of getting cheated.

If you are good at English and writing on a specific topic, then blogging would be the best option. One can start a blog on any niche he loves to write about and then join the Google Adsense program where one gets paid when a visitor clicks a Google ad on your blog. A blog need not be a domain, it can even be a free subdomain like a blogger.com blog.

If you’re looking for ways to save time while making money online, this article is perfect for you. We are going to outline some of the most effective ways of saving you time that you’ve ever seen. This article won’t take long to read, and the information we found is priceless. Many of the people who make their living online use these time saving tips to ensure they have enough time to spend with their loved ones and do what they want in life. The only way out of the rat race is to throw enough cheese in the cage and get out while you can. To get out of the rat race requires skillful planning. Here’s are some dynamite tips:

1. Configure your email to organize your messages. Configuring your email box to only receive email from important business contacts can do more than save time, it can save your entire business existence. So much time gets wasted when you have to rummage through 100 worthless emails to get to the 1 business email in your box. It’s much easier and more time efficient to have a separate mail box for your business life. This way you won’t have any wasted time in the first place.
You can also set your email box to have a filter on it, sending each email to it’s proper place in your e-mail box. This may be less time consuming than having more than one email address, but ultimately, you should let the amount of emails you receive dictate which time saving strategy to use.

2. Repost your old blog posts to save needed time. This may seem like cheating your visitors, but it probably isn’t. How is this possible? Well, the fact of the matter is, many of your Web site visitors probably haven’t read it yet! Subscribers come and go, and new people visit your Web site every day. So “old content” can be reused when you don’t have any new articles or content to post. See?

3. Stop participating in social networking sites. Social networking sites eat up a lot of precious time. They can prevent you from staying on task and getting the job done. It’s difficult enough to make a living online, and considering how real relationships are supposed to be, social networks can be a complete waste of time. If you aren’t making money with social networking, a second option would be to drop them altogether. Social networks can be very dangerous. Some people are desperate enough to involve you in harmful relationships, it’s our advice to steer clear of social networks altogether. Unless of course they make you money! In which case, you should weigh the social risk to the benefit. If they aren’t making you a substantial amount, you run the risk of someone wasting more than just your time.

We all know how huge of an industry affiliate marketing is. Nowadays it seems that just about every other blog link you see is an affiliate link for some product or service. For a long time, credit cards were one popular product to promote. Chase was the first creditor to participate, but eventually Bank of America, Citi, Capital One, American Express and many others got in on the action. But that was all before the financial turmoil… how are credit cards doing these days?
Here are three things that are now different with credit card marketing:

Overly Competitive
One of the biggest problems with credit cards today is that there are simply too many people promoting them. Blogging was a new concept several years ago, but today almost everyone has a blog. Of course among those, there are many who blog full-time. So now when you write a review of a given credit card, there are literally thousands of others out there reviewing that card too. To make matters worse, there are now many high profile personal finance sites which advertise rebate credit cards, balance transfer offers, etc… going up against them is no easy task.

Not As Many Credit Card Offers
Most of the credit card companies pulled out of the affiliate channels during the economic turmoil. Today, the number of banks participating you can count on one hand. On a brighter note, Chase credit cards recently came back onto the affiliate channel, but it sounds like they are trying to steer away from reviews. For example, Shelly over at CreditCardForum.com recently reviewed the Chase Sapphire Card, but she was surprised to discover there are new rules: “My Chase Sapphire Card review had to be looked over before publishing. I didn’t mind, but I would imagine there are many bloggers out there who would not like doing that.”

More Rules
The credit card companies are stricter than ever when it comes to their reviews. For example, American Express requires disclaimers to be posted in reviews. These disclaimers can’t just be hidden at the bottom of the page, rather they require them to be the same font as the review and they must be next to the link. Credit card companies are also requiring the content to always be up-to-date. For example, if the interest rate on that Chase Sapphire card were to change, Shelly would then need to go update his review ASAP to reflect the change.

Are Credit Cards Still a Good Online Business?
To be completely honest, the answer is no. Even the top sites in the niche make only a fraction of the money they were several years ago. For this reason, many of them have started to switch to CPC advertising instead.

There are a lot of websites that helps you in getting a ranking in Alexa Traffic Ranking; the most common amongst them are the Text-Link-Ads and ReviewMe.com which are considered by people in accepting you as a part of there program. In order to get a good ranking with them it is important that you understand the way the ranking is done so that you can aim for higher results and achieve success. A little time and consideration will help you in understand the process as it is simple, it does not require you to a genius or a mathematician.

Alexa Traffic Ranking can be explained as the clicks that you get on your website. It involves analyzing the pattern you website has been used by different people over a period of time. The time frame that is usually considered for this is a three-month rolling period. It is a combination of page and reviews. Here reach views means the number of users who have been using the site and the URL through different internet addresses in a particular day. However, when it is done through one address it is considered to be a single page view. The site that gets the maximum clicks in combination is ranked first.

To capture the data it is the Alexa Toolbar that is taken into consideration as that is the main source of information for them. Once they collect the data they then start to rank there users and in turn lead to a conclusion for which is the website that deserves the first ranking.

In short, it is important that you do download the Alexa Toolbar, so that the data is captured. In the meanwhile, it is also important that you should also encourage your users to use the Alexa Toolbar, so that whenever they click on your website it gets recorded. Or else there is a possibility that there might be several people using your website and links, but just because of not having the Alexa Toolbar, it does not get recorded and you in turn do not get the benefit for the same.

If you have been doing business online then you must know for how much the ranking makes a difference. It not only helps you get success in terms of money but also helps you in making your name in the market. Moreover, when it comes to doing business online you cannot deny the fact that goodwill is something that will help you attain things with a lot of ease. Since you are not interacting with the customers face to face, it is important that you should have enough names in the market so that your readers not only start to trust you but also help in achieving success in a short time.

Today, internet marketers have lot of options available before them. One is the use of Google adwords. Now, since internet is one of the most viable tools before companies to sell their products, they have to make use of it judiciously. One way through which this can be done is by building micro nice web sites. They are one page websites but once you get them listed, they can work immensely towards building the traffic of your own website. In addition, you can argue that since they contain only a single page, why building them is necessary. However, these websites hit off very well with the target audience especially if you also include the right set of keywords in them found through Google adwords keyword tool. Keyword finding is important otherwise, it is no use making the website. Building such sites is quite simple and involves a lot of fun.

You can also install the freely available software like Wordpress, Drupal or any other CMS that can make you include a lot of features in the website. It is easy to change the look of the site as per the templates of these content management systems. You can also procure a domain name for yourself that includes the keywords that you have got through the Google Adwords keyword tool. You can also experiment a lot as far as the content is concerned. Make sure that the content includes all the secondary and primary keywords. Apart from including keywords, this content should also be relevant telling people about the products and attending to their needs. You can also include your own HTML in the website particularly in its header.

So, all you need to do is to conduct some keyword research, get the domain name, construct the site, add the site in google webmaster tools and including few brilliant backlinks in the website.
You can also use a program called keyword elite for finding the keywords that are needed by you. However, it will cost you, unlike Google analytics, which is free. However, the indexing of such sites in Google takes a time of 7 to 14 days. After making five micro niche websites, you should wait to see how they fare in the search engine results pages. They fare better than other sites because the number of pages is so low.
You can also sell the site later if you so desire. Chances are high that you can get the site listed in the first ten search engine results of Google only. Moreover, this means an immense amount of traffic.

As far as the design of the site is concerned, you will have to ensure that a php script is used. It can change the adsense code listed on the page. This code would be seen sometimes and sometimes it won’t. You can share the profits with a partner, who can also devote some time to keyword research. However, theres no need to add more than 1000 to 2000 words on the site.
